We are the Bowdoin Polar Bear Cheerleading squad (PBC)! We are a newly formed squad, and we hope to make it the first consistent cheerleading squad Bowdoin has had in almost ten years. PBC was established in late 2006 by Chantal Crawley '10 and Rachael Fleming '09 with a following of only four girls, and the team has been steadily growing ever since. It wasn't long after PBC came into being that the Bowdoin community caught on to our contagious spirit. We actively promote school spirit through integrating Bowdoin students, alumni, and the Brunswick community into the athletic experience, showing support for all athletic teams, and generating energy around the campus year round through a combination of cheering, dancing, gymnastics, and stunting.

So the next time you see of crowd dressed in black walking across campus, don't hesitate to come along with us. Help us support BOWDOIN by promoting school spirit!
